Back-to-School Family Day
Every August we host a Back-to-School Family Day at each of the facilities. Our program participants’ children come for a visit and enjoy quality time through activities, games, and a nice meal. At the conclusion of the event, each child is given a brand new backpack full of school supplies. The estimated cost of one backpack is $25, but any amount is appreciated.
Christmas For Kids
In December, hundreds of children visit a parent at one of our 12 programs throughout the state. The families enjoy a nice meal, take photos with Santa, and spend the day playing games and enjoying each other’s company. At the conclusion of the day, each child leaves with a brand new wrapped Christmas gift. For many of the children, this is the only gift they will receive, and the only holiday celebration they will experience.
We need your help to ensure Christmas Family Day is special for every family who walks through our doors. Every dime of your donation will be used to provide gifts and holiday parties for the children.
